About
Me: (Updated 4-22-2008) Hi there! My name is Kimberly but most of my friends call me Kim or Kimmy. I am a 30-something Army wife. My GI and I have two kids and three furbabies (who think they are our kids). We just celebrated our 18th wedding anniversary. Out of the 18 years, we have been an Army family for over 14 years now. We have been stationed in Monterrey, Ca.; Fort Bragg, NC; Hawaii; and Texas....heading back to NC as our next duty station. In our time in the military, we have endured many deployments, some short, some long, but still there have been many, with probably many more to come, as my husband is making the Army a career. My husband just returned from a 15 month tour in Iraq. I come from a big military family. I was even born at Ft Bragg myself. I stay pretty busy running and designing for the website and shop, and generally running my household. I started americanstyle@cafepress a little over five years ago and consider it my full time job. Fortunately, it is a job I absolutely love! My favorite things: art and photography, boogie boarding, hiking, 'Survivior', 'LOST', 'Two and a Half Men', and 'CSI', thunderstorms and watching a good old fashion lightening storm. I enjoy all kinds of music but am partial to Country and my favorite Hawaiian musician, IZ. Favorite foods include Milky Way bars, Diet Pepsi Vanilla, Japanese, and Mexican.
